We are recruiting for an experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of domiciliary care branches across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The organisation is open to considering a strong Registered Manager who is ready to step into a wider multi-site role and take on increased responsibility.

About the Role

Provide operational leadership across multiple domiciliary care branches
Support, coach and develop Registered Managers to achieve strong service performance
Monitor branch performance against operational, quality and commercial targets
Ensure services maintain full compliance with CQC regulations
Conduct regular quality audits, reviews and performance meetings
Drive continuous improvement across the region
Support the growth and development of branches, including increasing care hours and client numbers
Build strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners and key stakeholders
Analyse performance data and identify areas for improvement
Support Registered Managers with safeguarding, incidents, complaints and regulatory matters
Work closely with senior leadership to deliver regional objectives

Requirements

Previous Area Manager, Regional Manager or Registered Manager experience within domiciliary care
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care
Proven leadership and people management experience
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of service growth
Experience managing teams and driving operational performance
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong quality assurance and compliance knowledge
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification would be advantageous
