How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Location: Canary Wharf, London (office-based four days a week, with Friday from home)

    The Opportunity

This is a early / entry level EA role into the business for someone with a strong academic background and ideally some exposure to a busy office. You will operate as a genuine extension of the VP – passing on information to drive conversations, communicating on their behalf, driving forward business processes, and ensuring key initiatives are delivered with pace and precision. It is a partnership built on trust, judgement and initiative, rather than a support role built on instruction-following.

You will sit at the centre of the company's external engagement, working closely with NHS organisations, pharmaceutical companies, researchers and patient communities to help build and maintain the relationships that underpin the company's growth. You will also manage ongoing projects, organise events and conferences, and help shape the processes that allow the business to scale effectively.

We are looking for someone with strong academic ability and real potential rather than a long track record. If you have some experience of a demanding, fast-paced environment and are ready to take on significant responsibility, this role offers a genuine pathway to more senior positions – including Head of Growth or Chief of Staff – as you prove your capability.

    Key Responsibilities

    Partnering with the VP

    * Act as a genuine extension of the VP, communicating across the business to help drive decisions.

    * Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including drafting correspondence and preparing briefings.

    * Manage the VP's schedule, meetings and priorities, keeping time focused on the highest-impact activities.

    * Anticipate needs, identify priorities and proactively resolve challenges before they escalate.

    * Help shape and drive improvements to the processes that support the growth function's effectiveness.

    Stakeholder and Partnership Liaison

    * Build and maintain strong working relationships with NHS organisations, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions and patient communities.

    * Coordinate communication and follow-up with external partners, ensuring relationships are well managed and nurtured over time.

    * Support the preparation of partnership materials, proposals and briefing documents.

    * Track ongoing relationships and engagements, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

    Project Management

    * Manage a portfolio of ongoing growth projects, tracking progress, timelines and deliverables.

    * Coordinate input from internal teams and external partners to keep projects moving forward.

    * Identify risks and delays early, and take ownership of resolving them.

    * Maintain clear reporting on project status for the VP.

    Events and Engagement

    * Plan and organise events, conferences and stakeholder engagements from concept through to delivery.

    * Manage logistics, budgets, guest lists and supplier relationships for events.

    * Coordinate the VP's – and, where relevant, the CEO's – participation in external conferences and industry events.

    * Evaluate the success of events and identify improvements for future activity.

Ad Hoc Support to the CEO

    * Provide occasional support to the CEO, for example during periods of high demand.

    * Assist with scheduling, briefing and correspondence as needed.

    What We Are Looking For

    * A strong academic record, ideally including a master's degree from a leading university (STEM, life sciences, economics, business or a related field) – though we welcome candidates who have demonstrated excellence through other routes.

    * Some experience in a demanding, fast-paced role; healthcare experience is not required.

    * Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence, reports and presentations.

    * Strong verbal communication and the confidence to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

    * Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    * Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism.

    * Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret information and present it clearly.

    * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.

    * A proactive, resourceful approach and comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy.

    * Experience organising events or projects is beneficial but not essential.

    Career Progression

This role is designed as a genuine springboard rather than a fixed position. Strong performers have a clear pathway to more senior roles, potentially including Head of Growth or Chief of Staff, with the pace of progression determined by capability and impact rather than time served.

    Why Apply

This is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside senior leadership at a company shaping the future of healthcare, AI and life sciences, with direct exposure to the relationships and projects driving its growth. You will gain exposure to NHS partnerships, pharmaceutical relationships, research collaborations and patient community engagement, alongside significant scope for professional development. For exceptional candidates, there may be opportunities to participate in the company's long-term growth through performance-based incentive schemes
