Description
The Bookkeeper's responsibilities include:
Take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping across the business.
Manage the purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, and credit control.
Maintain accurate financial records through regular bank, supplier, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Process journals and assist with month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, and ledger maintenance.
Monitor cash flow and support effective cash management across the organisation.
Assist with VAT submissions, audit requirements, and compliance-related finance activities.
Work closely with the Finance Director to improve processes, support reporting, and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
Experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
An eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
A good understanding of financial principles and practices.
Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.Job Offer
