How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruiting for a Part Time Payroll & HR Coordinator (c. 25 hours per week) - this is an exciting opportunity to support the organisation, playing a vital role delivering accurate and timely pay to all employees.

    Part Time Payroll & HR Coordinator

    Process and prepare payroll changes - starters, leavers, contractual amendments, OT payments, sickness, maternity etc.
    Work closely with external payroll provider to ensure accuracy - checking and validation
    Key point of contact for payroll and pension enquiries
    Pension administration - manage all schemes and employee changes
    Produce payroll reports, Wider responsibilities

    Maintain confidential and accurate HR records in line with legislation, GDPR and internal policies
    Support recruitment and onboarding processes - advertising, interview coordination, right-to-work checks etc.
    Assist with absence management, probation monitoring and compliance activities Profile

    Part Time Payroll & HR Coordinator

    Experience in payroll processing and familiarity with relevant systems.
    Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
    Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
    Good communication skills for handling payroll queries.
    Ability to work collaboratively with finance and HR teams.
    Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payroll issues.
    Happy to adhere to part time working (25 hours per week)
