THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and producing detailed estimates to support an efficient and high-quality repair process.

Key responsibilities include:
·Inspecting damaged vehicles and accurately assessing the extent of repair required.
·Producing accurate and detailed repair estimates.
·Identifying required parts, labour and repair procedures.
·Using industry-standard estimating systems to calculate repair costs and timescales.
·Liaising with Panel Beaters, MET Technicians and other Bodyshop staff to ensure repair requirements are clearly understood.
·Reviewing repairs and updating estimates where additional damage is identified.
·Maintaining accurate records and ensuring estimates meet required standards.
·Supporting an efficient repair process by communicating effectively with the wider Bodyshop team.

ABOUT YOU
This opportunity would suit an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Bodyshop Estimator with strong estimating knowledge and excellent attention to detail.

You'll ideally have:
·ATA / IMI accreditation in Vehicle Damage Assessment.
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, VDA, Bodyshop Estimator or Vehicle Estimator.
·Proficiency with estimating systems such as Audatex / GT Global.
·Strong IT and system skills.
·Good knowledge of vehicle repair methods, parts and labour requirements.
·Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
·Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians and colleagues.
·A professional, organised and methodical approach.
·A full UK driving licence.
