How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're looking for a Learning Designer to join the Sudio team. You'll use your expertise in adult learning and digital instructional design to create high-quality, engaging learning content for our diverse customer base. Whether reimagining existing material or building something new from the ground up, you'll lead projects from initial scoping through to delivery of the final product, bringing clarity to complex topics and ensuring quality and impact at every stage.
    What we're looking for
We're after someone with at least two years' experience designing digital learning, or a strong foundation in adult learning principles. You'll communicate clearly, work confidently with stakeholders to turn training needs into effective learning experiences, and bring a creative, detail-oriented approach to quality assurance. Comfort with authoring tools (currently Adapt and Storyline), commercial awareness and a willingness to travel for customer meetings are all important; experience in one of our customer sectors is a bonus.
    Why work with us
We're a tight-knit team, full of passion and drive to create the best learning experiences we can for our customers. You'll join a great working atmosphere in our spacious office in the centre of Southwick, with a collaborative team who support each other and enjoy regular team socials (and the occasional Nintendo Switch tournament). Beyond the day-to-day, we offer uncapped commission on sales, our Reward Me recognition and reward programme, a Cycle to Work scheme, Group Life Assurance, an annual flu vaccination, office fruit deliveries, and private health insurance offered after two years of service.
    Your responsibilities
    * Apply adult learning principles to create digital experiences that are accessible, effective and visually engaging
    * Lead projects to design and update engaging, interactive learning for our off-the-shelf course suites
    * Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and shape content that meets their objectives
    * Script clear, concise and engaging content for varied audiences and learning outcomes
    * Select appropriate screen types, imagery and interactions to enhance learning
    * Build interactive digital learning modules using our chosen authoring tools (currently Adapt and Storyline)
    * Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure materials meet design standards and customer expectations
    * Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and to brief
    * Provide time estimates and methodically log work
    * Support and mentor other members of the Learning Production team
    * Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
