How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for a Monday-to-Friday role within a fast-paced production and manufacturing environment?
We are working with an established and growing business looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring excellent standards across goods in, goods out, stock control and materials handling.
The warehouse operates as a bonded store, so experience working within a bonded warehouse or a similar regulated environment would be advantageous. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring all warehouse processes meet the required operational, regulatory and compliance standards.
    The Role
    * Overseeing goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring stock movements are accurate and efficient.
    * Managing inventory, conducting regular stock takes and maintaining inventory accuracy of 98%+.
    * Ensuring all processes within the bonded store are followed correctly, maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
    * Leading, developing and scheduling the warehouse team, promoting a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
    * Working closely with Production, Procurement and Logistics to ensure the timely availability of materials and effective dispatch of finished goods.
    * Managing warehouse space and identifying opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
    * Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
    * Overseeing forklifts, MHE and warehouse equipment, including safety checks, maintenance and training.
    * Investigating incidents and implementing preventative measures to reduce operational risk.
    * Maintaining accurate warehouse records and producing reports covering stock, discrepancies, fulfilment and operational KPIs.
    * Supporting audits and driving ongoing improvements to warehouse systems and processes.
    About You
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager with a minimum of 3 years' warehouse management, logistics or inventory control experience, ideally gained within a production, manufacturing, food, beverage or similarly fast-paced environment.
Experience working within a bonded warehouse, bonded store or another highly regulated stock-control environment would be particularly advantageous.
    You will ideally have:
    * Strong experience managing warehouse operations, stock control and inventory systems, including WMS.
    * Proven experience leading and developing warehouse teams.
    * A valid forklift qualification and experience operating MHE, with a good understanding of warehouse health & safety requirements. (This can be refreshed in needed)
    * Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to implement process and system improvements.
    * A strong understanding of the importance of stock accuracy, traceability, documentation and compliance.
    * Experience working in an environment where strict procedures and regulatory requirements must be followed.
    * Experience with MHE fleet management, contracts, racking inspections and relevant safety legislation such as LOLER and PUWER would also be advantageous.

If you're an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for your next challenge within a well-established production and manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
