Our client is a leading organisation who focus on sustainability and have grown significantly over the years. They are seeking a mechanical designer to join their engineering team on a 6 month contract.
Key aspects of this role include:
Mechanical Designer
Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure engineering design is to BATNEEC and gas regulation standards.
Detailed Mechanical design and layouts of the plant, accurate to the P&ID, completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate design standard (EN13480/ASME B31.3) using Plant 3D software package.
Liaison on technical details of all mechanical aspects, during the tendering and design scoping process with suppliers /contractors
Complete and regularly review development and training plans to ensure you are up to date on all legal compliance and appropriate skill set.
Support mechanical construction completion with the dedicated project engineer
Responsible for ensuring that the engineering drawing files, and library are always up to date
