Are you a creative and enthusiastic Design Technology, Photography or Graphics teacher looking for your next opportunity?

We are delighted to be supporting a fantastic secondary school in Wellingborough that is looking for a talented and inspiring teacher to join its creative and technical curriculum from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys combining creativity, technical skills and practical learning to inspire students and help them develop their confidence and passion for creative subjects.

Your Role

Delivering engaging and inspiring DT, Photography and Graphics lessons across KS3 and KS4
Developing students' creative, technical and practical skills
Encouraging pupils to explore ideas, experiment and develop their own designs
Supporting students to produce high-quality creative and practical outcomes
Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
Preparing students for GCSE and other relevant qualifications
Working collaboratively with colleagues within a supportive and creative department

We're Looking For

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Design Technology, Graphics and/or Photography within a secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for creative education
Confidence teaching practical and project-based lessons
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to inspire students and encourage creativity and independence
A committed and enthusiastic teacher who can contribute positively to the wider school community
