How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for an experienced and motivated Flexographic Printer to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting flexographic printing machinery to produce high-quality printed products while maintaining excellent standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

    We welcome applications from printers with different levels of experience, with pay rates reflecting your skills, experience, and ability to work independently.

    Key Responsibilities

    Set up and operate flexographic printing presses efficiently and safely.
    Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders and other materials for production.
    Ensure print quality meets customer and company specifications.
    Carry out colour matching and make adjustments to achieve the required print standard.
    Monitor the press throughout production and make adjustments where necessary.
    Complete quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
    Minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency.
    Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the press.
    Follow all company health & safety procedures and production standards.
    Work closely with the production and quality teams to meet deadlines.
    Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will have:

    Previous experience operating a flexographic printing press.
    A good understanding of the flexographic printing process.
    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Good problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to production issues.
    A reliable and hardworking attitude.
    Good understanding of health & safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
    Candidates with more experience and the ability to independently set up and run presses will be offered a higher rate of pay.

    We are happy to consider candidates at different levels of experience. Your rate of pay will be agreed based on your previous experience, technical ability, and level of independence on the press.
