Are you a qualified Maths Teacher looking for a short-term teaching opportunity in Southport?
Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to provide full-time cover at a welcoming secondary school in Southport for approximately two weeks, while a member of staff is away on jury service.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher, ECT or qualified teacher looking for a short-term role with an immediate start.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
Follow existing schemes of work and lesson plans where provided.
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
Assess pupil understanding and provide appropriate feedback.
Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
Ensure continuity of learning throughout the short-term absence.The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Maths Teacher who:
Holds QTS or equivalent teaching status.
Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.
Is confident teaching across KS3 and KS4.
Has strong classroom management skills.
Can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils.
Is reliable, adaptable and able to start at short notice.ECTs with appropriate experience are welcome to apply.
