How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Role

    Due to continued growth and increasing production demands, an established food manufacturing business in Warminster, Wiltshire is seeking several Production Operatives to join its expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to secure immediate work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting production activities within a frozen food manufacturing facility. Working as part of a busy team, you will help ensure production targets, quality standards, and health and safety requirements are consistently achieved.

    The successful Production Operator will work within a fast-moving food production environment, carrying out quality inspections, following operational procedures, and always maintaining excellent manufacturing standards.

    You will play an important role in supporting production processes, maintaining product quality, and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing operation.

    As a Production Operative you will be expected to work efficiently as part of a team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

    Operating within a fast-paced food production environment.
    Completing quality inspections to ensure all products meet required standards.
    Following operational procedures and customer specifications.
    Adhering to Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.
    Supporting the production team to achieve daily targets.
    Working effectively with colleagues across the manufacturing operation.
    Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.As a Production Operator, you will help ensure production lines run smoothly while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards.

    As a Factory Operative, you will support manufacturing processes, assist with quality control activities, and contribute to the efficient operation of the factory.

    Requirements
