Foundation Surveyors Limited is an independent RICS-regulated surveying practice providing residential surveying and valuation services across London.
We are looking for an experienced MRICS or FRICS Chartered Surveyor with current RICS Registered Valuer status to join our growing practice on either a full-time or part-time permanent basis.
The role will primarily involve:
- RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
- RICS Level 3 Home Surveys
- Residential valuations
- Defect diagnosis and professional advice
- Preparing clear, accurate reports within agreed timescales
- Client communication following inspections
Inspections will be predominantly across North and East London, although some wider London coverage may be required.
About the role
This is a home-based position with office support for bookings, routine administration and general client coordination, allowing the successful candidate to focus primarily on inspections, technical judgement and report production.
We are open to both full-time and part-time working arrangements.
Essential requirements
- MRICS or FRICS qualification
- Current RICS Registered Valuer status
- Recent residential valuation experience
- Strong residential building surveying and defect-diagnosis experience
- Experience producing RICS Level 2 and Level 3 reports
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to inspections across London
- Satisfactory professional and claims history
Salary
£55,000–£65,000 FTE, depending on experience, qualifications and ability to manage the expected workload.
Part-time salaries will be calculated pro rata.
