We are looking for a Transport Administrator & Planner to support our clients Transport / Office Department.
The successful candidate will be organised, IT literate, and confident working with data and systems. High competence in Microsoft Excel is essential, while previous experience with SAP would be an advantage.
Working Hours - Sunday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:30
Salary - £27,622.40 per annum – non-negotiable.
Contract – Temp to perm
Location - Tankersley, Barnsley, S75
Experience & Skills
Strong IT skills, with a high level of competence in Excel.
Previous experience in a traffic, transport, warehousing, or logistics environment is preferable.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where tasks and priorities can vary.
Good attention to detail and accuracy when entering and reviewing data.
Role & Responsibilities
Candidates should be aware that this is a varied role, with responsibilities changing throughout the working week.
Sunday: Transport planning and scheduling.
Monday – Thursday:
Interaction with drivers and customers.
General transport administration.
KPI inputting and reporting.
System checks and updates.
Supporting the wider Transport / Office Department with day-to-day tasks
