How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your new role

    As a Transactional Systems Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the organisation's finance and transactional systems. Working closely with Finance, Operations and IT teams, you will ensure system processes run effectively, transactional data remains accurate, and users receive timely support to resolve issues and improve efficiency.You will take ownership of investigating and resolving system queries, monitoring transactional workflows, maintaining data integrity, supporting system testing and assisting with process improvement initiatives. The role will suit a proactive and analytical professional who enjoys problem-solving, working across multiple business functions and driving improvements within a fast-paced, systems-focused environment.
    What you'll need to succeed

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience working within finance operations, transactional finance or finance systems environments. You will enjoy investigating issues, improving processes and collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure the smooth running of critical financial and operational activities.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of transactional finance processes, excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. Confident in communicating with both finance and non-finance teams, you will be highly organised, solutions-focused and passionate about driving accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement.
    Key Responsibilities
    System Support

    Provide first-line support for finance and transactional system queries.
    Investigate and resolve issues affecting sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing and financial transactions.
    Support users with system queries and provide guidance on best practice.
    Escalate complex technical issues to third-party providers or IT where appropriate.
    Monitor system processes and investigate failed or incomplete transactions. Finance & Transactional Support

    Support transactional processes including:
    Sales orders and invoices
    Purchase orders and invoices
    Inventory transactions
    Stock movements
    Payments and journals
    Customer and supplier records
    Investigate discrepancies between systems and financial records.
    Assist with month-end system-related issues and reconciliations.
    Help maintain accurate master data across systems. System Administration

    Assist with user access, permissions and system configuration.
    Maintain system documentation and user guides.
    Support testing of system changes, upgrades and new functionality.
    Perform UAT and regression testing where required.
    Help identify and report system bugs and recurring issues.
    Create SOP and assist with user trainingProcess Improvement

    Identify opportunities to improve transactional processes and reduce manual work.
    Work with Finance and Operations to improve system processes.
    Assist with automation and integration projects.
    Analyse recurring issues and recommend solutions to prevent them from happening again. Skills & ExperienceEssential:

    Experience working with an ERP, finance or transactional system.
    Good understanding of finance processes and transactions.
    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    Good Excel skills.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
    Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
    Ability to manage multiple queries and prioritise workload. Desirable:

    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system.
    Experience supporting finance, purchasing, sales or inventory systems.
    Experience with system integrations/interfaces.
    Knowledge of VAT and transactional finance processes.
    Experience with UAT/system testing.
