Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £38,188 – £40,653 per annum including 15% shift uplift
Hours: Monday – Wednesday 1:30pm – 11:30pm, Thursday 1:30pm – 11:00pm (Every Friday off)
Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Aylesbury.
This is a permanent late-shift position suited to a TIG Welder / Fabricator with a strong manufacturing background and experience working from engineering drawings.

TIG Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities
*
Carry out fabrication and coded welding work to engineering drawings
*
Read and interpret third-angle projection engineering drawings
*
Produce welded components to required quality standards
*
Carry out MPI and Dye Penetrant inspections where required
*
Complete relevant quality checks and report defects
*
Record welding and qualification information accurately
*
Book and manage jobs using the EPICOR MRP system
*
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S
*
Support continuous improvement and waste-reduction activities
*
Ensure all work is completed safely and within required timescales
What We're Looking For
*
Confident and experienced TIG Welder
*
Minimum 2 years' welding experience within a manufacturing environment
*
Strong fabrication experience
*
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*
Experience with MPI / Dye Pen inspection would be advantageous
*
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
*
Strong attention to detail
