Arc Potential is working with an established contractor looking to strengthen its project delivery team with an experienced Mechanical Project Manager from a mechanical, M&E or main contractor background.
The role will oversee projects across Central Scotland and offers the chance to join a business with a strong pipeline of upcoming work, along with scope to develop as the company continues to grow.
The Role
You will manage mechanical projects from planning through to commissioning and handover, taking responsibility for delivery, programme, costs and coordination across live projects.
Manage mechanical projects through delivery and handover
Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and plant
Keep programmes on track and resolve issues as they arise
Monitor project costs and commercial performance
Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
Maintain clear communication with clients, site teams and project stakeholders
Oversee quality, health and safety, testing and commissioning
Manage project documentation, closeout and final handover
About You
You will be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a proven background delivering similar commercial or industrial mechanical projects.
Experience within a mechanical contractor, M&E contractor or main contractor environment is important, along with the ability to take ownership of projects and manage delivery from site through to completion.
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems
Confidence leading site teams and managing subcontractors
Good commercial awareness, including project costs and budgets
Strong organisation, planning and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across live projects
A mechanical trade background, HNC or HND would be beneficial
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
