A welcoming primary school in Stockport is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join the team full-time from September till February. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and building positive relationships with young children.
The school has a strong focus on providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with staff working closely together to ensure pupils receive the right support to make progress. The successful candidate will join an established team and play an important role in delivering high-quality teaching across KS1.
The successful candidate will:
Strong KS1 knowledge - secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver purposeful, well-structured lessons.
Engaging teaching - create fun, creative and motivating learning experiences that capture pupils' interest and encourage them to become confident learners.
Positive relationships - build trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, creating a warm and supportive classroom environment.
Behaviour management - have a calm, consistent and fair approach to behaviour, with clear expectations and positive reinforcement.
Inclusive practice - confidently adapt teaching and resources to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and differing levels of attainment.This full-time KS1 role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where your teaching can have a genuine impact on pupils' progress and confidence.
