Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an engaging and adaptable Functional Skills Teacher to join a supportive specialist education setting on the Wirral.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with young people who may not thrive in a traditional mainstream classroom and who can build strong relationships, create engaging lessons and help pupils make meaningful progress.
You will be delivering Functional Skills English and Maths to small groups and individual learners, adapting lessons to meet a range of additional needs, learning levels and barriers to education.
The role will suit someone who is confident creating a calm, structured and motivating learning environment and who can take a practical, flexible approach to teaching.

We would be keen to hear from qualified teachers, tutors or experienced Functional Skills practitioners with experience in SEND, alternative provision, SEMH, PRU, FE or similar settings.
