Description
Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value
Manage supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to align with the company's goals.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and regulations.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers effectively and efficientlyProfile
A successful Senior Buyer should have:
Proven experience in procurement
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyse market trends and develop effective purchasing strategies.
Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and resolving issues.
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
SAP experience is desirableJob Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £40,500 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
