Role
Reporting to a senior director, the Sales Manager will play a key role in delivering the company's growth strategy. The position will lead sales development across existing and new markets, growing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships. Working closely with engineering, technical and manufacturing teams, you will understand complex customer requirements, develop solutions and identify opportunities for new products and applications. This is a hands-on role with significant scope to shape the commercial approach, strengthen sales processes and contribute directly to the company's continued international growth.
Person
We are seeking a proven technical sales leader with a strong industrial and engineering background and a demonstrable track record of delivering growth within a technically complex environment. You will have the credibility to engage with engineers, technical specialists and senior decision-makers, alongside the commercial drive to win new business and develop strategic accounts. Experience selling specialist engineered products, advanced materials, components or similarly technical solutions would be highly advantageous. You will combine strong sales leadership and business development skills with commercial acumen, a structured and data-led approach, and the ability to work effectively across technical and operational functions. A degree in engineering, materials science, business or a related discipline would be advantageous, but proven technical sales management experience within an industrial or engineering environment is the principal requirement.
