Key Responsibilities
* Build and wire electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics.
* Install, terminate, and test electrical components and control systems.
* Read and interpret electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Support panel modifications, upgrades, and repairs as required.
* Assist with on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Panel Wireman, Electrical Fitter, Control Panel Builder, or similar role.
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Experience wiring control panels and industrial electrical equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant electrical qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent are advantageous.
* Full UK Driving Licence is desirable, particularly for field-based positions.
