How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Take ownership of a UK sales territory with significant opportunity for growth.

    * Combine technical problem-solving with business development in a customer-facing role.

    * Work with world-leading aerospace manufacturers such as Rolls Royce and Easton plus a range of OEM partners.

    * Be part of an international organisation that invests in its people, products and long-term success.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    * Develop new business pipeline and opportunities across the UK aerospace manufacturing sector.

    * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow revenue.

    * Conduct regular customer visits, delivering product demonstrations, technical presentations and first-line technical support.

    * Manage customer enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities, working closely with the internal sales team.

    * Deliver product and installation training for customers, supporting successful implementation of Böllhoff’s HELICOIL product range.

    * Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support future business growth.

    * Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows and customer events, representing the Böllhoff brand.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    * Proven experience in a technical sales or applications engineering role, ideally within aerospace, manufacturing or industrial engineering.

    * A track record of developing new business whilst managing and growing existing customer accounts.

    * Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage a P&L, identify opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships.

    * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging technical and commercial stakeholders.

    * The ability to understand engineering applications and explain technical solutions in a clear, customer-focused manner.

    * A self-motivated, organised approach with the willingness to travel extensively across the UK.

    WHAT YOU’LL GET

    * Competitive salary with performance-related bonus.

    * Company car (BMW).

    * Pension and comprehensive benefits package.

    * Ongoing technical and professional development.
