The Assistant Project Manager will support senior colleagues with the delivery of healthcare schemes from inception through to completion. The Assistant Project Manager's role
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of healthcare projects across Hertfordshire and the surrounding region, including projects within live and operational environments.
The Assistant Project Manager will assist with programme management, consultant coordination, procurement support, contract administration, project reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication. They will attend client and site meetings, monitor project actions, maintain project documentation, and liaise with consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
As their experience develops, the Assistant Project Manager will take on greater ownership of project workstreams and smaller commissions while continuing to receive support from experienced senior colleagues.
The Assistant Project Manager
The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Experience supporting healthcare or similar complex projects
Experience working in live operational environments would be beneficial
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
Progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification
A good understanding of JCT contracts and construction project delivery
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
A professional and proactive approach to project delivery
