How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Opportunity

    This is a standalone role combining Office Management, Business Support and HR Administration responsibilities.

    The position is split approximately 70% Office Management and 30% People/HR, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both operational and people-focused responsibilities.

    You'll be the go-to person for all things office and people related, helping to ensure employees have an outstanding experience while maintaining efficient processes behind the scenes.

    The Role

    As Office & HR Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting the employee lifecycle across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and employee wellbeing.

    You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and external suppliers, taking ownership of creating an organised, welcoming and engaging workplace environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Office Management

    • Manage the day-to-day running of a professional office environment.
    • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, service providers and the landlord.
    • Coordinate office improvements, facilities and workplace initiatives.
    • Ensure the office remains welcoming, organised and fully operational.
    • Organise team events, celebrations and company activities.
    • Provide general business administration support.
    • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and contractors.

    HR & People Support

    • Manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
    • Coordinate recruitment activity and onboarding processes.
    • Prepare contracts and employee documentation.
    • Support benefits administration and HR systems management.
    • Handle day-to-day employee queries and support straightforward employee relations matters.
    • Ensure accurate employee records and compliance processes are maintained.
    • Contribute to creating an excellent employee experience.

    What We're Looking For

    • Previous experience as an Office Manager, Office & HR Manager, Operations Manager or similar role.
    • Practical HR experience including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment coordination and benefits administration.
    • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Confidence working closely with senior stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
    • A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Comfortable working within a small, high-performing business environment.

    Desirable

    • Experience within Financial Services, Investment Management, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Professional Services.
    • CIPD qualification or HR-related training.
    • Experience using HR systems and managing employee records.
