Are you a technology leader who can turn emerging technologies into real-world solutions?

We're looking for a Director of Innovation & Engineering to drive technical strategy, shape major opportunities and help deliver cutting-edge digital solutions across Defence and Government programmes.

This is a client-facing leadership role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, identify future technology opportunities and lead the development of innovative, scalable solutions spanning cloud, AI, data, cyber security and software engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

Shaping technical solutions for major bids, proposals and strategic opportunities.
Translating customer challenges into innovative and deliverable solutions.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior government and defence stakeholders.
Working with engineering teams to develop new service offerings and technology capabilities.
Supporting proof of concepts, technical demonstrations and innovation initiatives.
Providing technical leadership throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.
Representing the business at industry events and helping drive thought leadership.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience winning and shaping technology opportunities within Defence, Government or other highly regulated sectors.
Strong background in software engineering, cloud, cyber security, data or digital transformation.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
Commercial awareness with the ability to balance innovation, delivery and profitability.
A passion for emerging technologies and their practical application to complex challenges.
