Are you an experienced Adult Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity in London?

3D Recruit is currently recruiting for a Qualified Adult Social Worker to join a local authority team, offering a competitive rate of £30–£32 per hour.

The Role

You will manage a varied and complex caseload, supporting adults with a range of care and support needs. The role will involve:

* Completing Care Act assessments, reviews and support planning

* Managing complex cases and developing person-centred support plans

* Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions

* Conducting safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014

* Coordinating complex discharge planning and community support

* Working closely with health professionals and multidisciplinary teams

* Promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for adults

* Maintaining accurate case records and producing high-quality reports

* Providing professional support and guidance to less experienced colleagues

* Ensuring statutory duties are delivered in line with legislation and local authority procedures

What We're Looking For

* Social Work degree or equivalent qualification

* Current Social Work England (SWE) registration

* Minimum 2 years' post-qualifying experience

* Strong knowledge of UK adult social care legislation and practice

* Experience managing complex adult social care cases

* Right to work in the UK
