How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Graduate Process Technologist – Food Manufacturing

Ready to launch your career in the food industry?

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking food manufacturing businesses around — in a role that offers genuine scope to learn, develop and progress your career.

If you love to learn, enjoy solving problems and want to see products come to life in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Whether you’ve recently completed a Food Science or food-related degree, or you’re at the beginning of your career in food manufacturing, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

    The Company

You’ll be joining the Process Team within one of Europe’s most advanced food manufacturing facilities.

With ambitious expansion plans and continued investment in technology, people and innovation, this is a fantastic time to become part of the business.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and culturally diverse environment where no two days are quite the same — and where you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and build your career.

    The Role – Process Technologist

As a Process Technologist, you’ll play an important part in turning great food ideas into successful products.

Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll help take new products from kitchen handover all the way through to factory production and successful launch.

    Your responsibilities will include:

Taking products from kitchen handover through trials, testing and ultimately into full production.
Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure factory trials run smoothly and effectively.
Communicating trial outcomes and highlighting any critical issues or potential improvements.
Measuring and analysing yields and performance to ensure products meet quality, food safety and customer expectations.
Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and product performance.
Supporting the wider team with the selection, purchase and trialling of new processing equipment for product launches and improvements to existing processes. It’s a varied, hands-on role that will give you excellent exposure to the wider food manufacturing operation.

    About You

We’re looking for someone with plenty of enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine desire to build a career in food manufacturing.
    Ideally, you’ll bring:

A degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline would be advantageous, although we’re equally interested in candidates with relevant practical experience.
Some experience within a food factory, manufacturing or operational environment – beneficial, but not essential.
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn — there’s plenty to get involved in!
A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
The ability to work at pace and remain tenacious and driven.
    An agile and flexible mindset.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects at once.
A natural ability to solve problems and find practical solutions.
Good data collection, analysis and interpretation skills.
The confidence to work independently while being a great team player.
A sense of fun and a positive contribution to team culture.
A real passion for food, creativity and innovation.
    Why Join?

Process is at the heart of every successful food factory, making this an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience and build the foundations for a long-term career within the food manufacturing industry.
    You’ll benefit from:

A brand-new, high-tech working environment with modern, state-of-the-art automated machinery and excellent facilities.
Joining a rapidly growing subsidiary of a highly successful food business.
Genuine opportunities for career progression into Operations, Production, Technical and NPD.
    Excellent employee perks and discounts.
Working for a business with strong sustainability values.
The opportunity to learn, develop and make a visible contribution from the outset. If you’re ambitious, curious and highly driven, this could be the opportunity that kick-starts an exciting career in food manufacturing.
