Head of Finance

An exciting Head of Finance role with a salary of £70,000 to £90,000 plus bonus and career progression opportunities for a permanent office based role in our client's head office Marylebone, London office.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Finance to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who aspires to progress into a Finance Director role as the business continues to grow.

They are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance with an immediate start at a market leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology-based car parking company. Our client is a market leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago. The company operates over 4000 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue-chip clients.

The role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be expected to lead by example andcontribute directly to delivery,be actively involved in day-to-day operations, and work alongside your team while driving the strategic direction of the finance function. You’ll manage a team and work closely with procurement and other departments to support the wider business.

Main Responsibilities

Duties will include:

·Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.

·Take a hands-on approach to the day-to-day finance function, supporting the team whenever required.

·Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

·Partner with procurement and other departments to improve business performance and efficiency.

·Support the senior leadership team with strategic planning and commercial decision-making.

·Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative financial solutions.

·Build a high-performing, motivated, and collaborative finance team.

·Demonstrate a proactive, practical approach.

Skills:

·Qualified in accounting, finance or a related field. (Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

·Proven experience in a senior finance management role.

·Experienced in people management and developing large teams.

·A hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the detail when needed.

·Strong strategic and commercial thinking and able to think outside the box

·Ability to work across numerous departments

·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·A supportive, approachable people manager who enjoys coaching and developing others.

·Highly organised, proactive, and committed to protecting the financial interests of the business.
