How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Sales Development Representative

    Location: Ascot, Berkshire
    Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits
    Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (Office based)

    CTR Select are recruiting for a Sales Development Representative to join our client’s growing team in Ascot. This role is focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities, helping drive a strong pipeline for the Sales team.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Generate new business leads through research, networking, social media, calls, and email outreach

    *

    Engage with prospects across multiple markets to understand needs and present solutions

    *

    Follow up on inbound and warm leads from marketing campaigns

    *

    Qualify opportunities and pass high-quality leads to Business Development Managers

    *

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (MS Dynamics preferred)

    *

    Track activity and provide reports on pipeline and sales metrics

    *

    Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to improve outreach strategies

    *

    Support events, trade shows, and marketing initiatives when required

    *

    Ensure all customer and internal data is handled in line with GDPR requirements

    *

    Stay informed about new products, processes, and industry trends

    Skills & Experience Required

    *

    Experience in a Sales Development, Lead Generation, Customer Service, Business Development, Account Management, or similar customer-facing role.

    *

    Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (MS Dynamics advantageous)

    *

    Understanding of complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision making

    *

    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

    *

    Confident prospecting via phone, email, and social channels

    *

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and meet KPIs

    *

    Highly motivated, resilient, and target driven

    *

    Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

    *

    Knowledge of GDPR and best practices in data management
