How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Revit Technician

    Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
    Working: Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days working from home

    We're working with a well-established Building Services Engineering Consultancy that is looking to add a talented Revit Technician to their growing team.

    The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality MEP and sustainable engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, retail and hospitality.

    This is a great opportunity for a Revit Technician looking to work on a varied project portfolio while developing their technical and BIM skills within a collaborative engineering environment.

    The Role

    Produce detailed 2D and 3D MEP models using Revit
    Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to develop coordinated designs
    Produce accurate drawings and detailed design information
    Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection
    Work with project teams to ensure models and drawings meet project requirements
    Update and maintain Revit models throughout the design process
    Support the delivery of projects from concept through to detailed design and construction
    Liaise with engineers and other disciplines to ensure effective coordination

    About You

    Previous experience working as a Revit Technician within Building Services / MEP
    Strong working knowledge of Revit
    Experience producing MEP models and technical drawings
    Understanding of BIM processes and coordination
    Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and wider project teams
    Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
    Experience within a consultancy environment would be advantageous
