How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

When customers lose their signal, they need someone who can diagnose the problem, put it right and leave them with a reliable solution. As a TV Aerial and Satellite Engineer with Digital Vision, you'll take ownership of varied installations, servicing and fault-finding across domestic and multi-tenancy properties.

Digital Vision is a busy local business based in Eastham, currently booked around four weeks ahead and looking to expand its experienced engineer team to meet demand. You'll cover the Wirral, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Fleetwood areas, working across Sky, Freesat, Freeview, IRS and communal systems.

This role would be ideal for a former Sky engineer or someone who has worked for a large national installation network, or regional service provider for digital TV, aerial, and satellite setups.

    What’s in it for you:

£35,000 basic salary with overtime taking potential earnings to £35,000 - £42,000 OTE
Permanent PAYE employment with 28 days' holiday and pension
Monday to Friday working with no compulsory weekends
Optional weekend overtime paid at time and a half
Fuel card provided for work-related travel
Specialist equipment supplied, including meters, ladders, dishes and installation kit

Your responsibilities as TV Aerial and Satellite Engineer

Complete TV Aerial and Satellite installations, maintenance, servicing and fault diagnosis across customer properties
Install and maintain integrated reception systems serving residents in multi-tenancy buildings and offices
Complete Sky Q installations independently and diagnose signal and reception faults
Work safely at height using ladders and roof ladders while following appropriate health and safety procedures
Carry out site-specific risk assessments before starting work
Complete work professionally while keeping customer properties clean and tidy

What we’re looking for in a TV Aerial and Satellite Engineer

Proven hands-on experience completing Sky, Freeview and Freesat installations and fault diagnosis independently
    Full UK driving licence
Own basic hand tools and the ability to work safely at height
Competence in health and safety procedures, including completing risk assessments
CSCS, ECS or CAI certification would be advantageous but is not essential

Working hours – Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Weekend work is optional and available as overtime.

Digital Vision has the workload ready and is looking for someone who can get out on the road and deliver from day one. If you're an experienced TV Aerial and Satellite Engineer with experience working across Sky, Freesat, Freeview, IRS and communal system looking for secure PAYE employment, strong earning potential and a Monday-to-Friday schedule, apply online today
