How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    HR Administrator
    Location: Wymondham College, Wymondham
    Salary: £26,403 - £28,142 per annum
    Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
    At Sapientia Education Trust, our students are at the heart of everything we do, and our HR team plays a vital role in supporting the staff who make a difference every day. We are seeking an organised, proactive and professional individual to join our busy HR team as an HR Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of HR activities across our growing Trust.
    THE ROLE
    the HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across the HR function, helping to coordinate recruitment activity, support employee relations processes and contribute to the effective delivery of HR services across the Trust.
    The role includes the following:
    * Coordinating recruitment activity, including arranging interviews and preparing recruitment documentation.
    * Supporting onboarding processes and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
    * Preparing induction paperwork and coordinating mandatory training records.
    * Providing administrative support to HR Managers and the wider HR team
    * Coordinating investigations, formal meetings and casework processes
    * Preparing correspondence, including meeting invitations and outcome letters.
    * Taking accurate meeting notes and minutes.
    * Producing reports and workforce data analysis as required
    * Maintaining confidential HR records and documentation
    PERSON SPECIFICATION
    The personal competencies expected of an HR Administrator are:
    * The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods, high attention to detail and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others;
    * Able to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team;
    * Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions; the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges.

    The professional competencies expected of an HR Administrator are:
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    * Be flexible in managing and planning daily, weekly, monthly workloads;

    * Able to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team;
    * Be able to contribute to the analysis of problems and make suggestions for solutions;
    * Have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, and use tact, diplomacy and empathy where necessary;
    * Committed to providing the best possible service to the staff, governors, students and parents.
    The qualifications and previous experience required of the HR Administrator are:
    * A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE.
    * Have a sound track record of good quality administration and be proficient in ICT database and software systems, particularly Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word;
    * Experience of an HR or education environment would be beneficial, but not a requirement;
    * Previous experience of the MHR iTrent MIS would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
