The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, using their own initiative and delivering a high standard of electrical work across a range of projects.
The role will involve working from electrical drawings and specifications, with projects generally located within a 50-mile radius of Bedford.
Experience working with mechanical control panels would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation and maintenance work
Work independently and use your own initiative
Read and work from electrical drawings and specifications
Install, wire and work on mechanical control panels
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Follow relevant electrical regulations and company procedures
Travel to customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius of Bedford
Maintain a professional approach when working with customers and colleagues
Requirements
City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Previous experience working as an Electrician
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Mechanical control panel experience would be highly desirable
Full UK driving licence
