We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team in Warrington. In this pivotal role, you will not only be responsible for the well-being of our children and young people but also serve as a mentor and role model for.
Your primary responsibilities will involve providing emotional support and fostering meaningful relationships with the children and young people in our care. You will play a crucial role in establishing clear boundaries and routines, creating a nurturing environment that they can genuinely consider their home.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will take an active interest in each child and young person’s individual needs and aspirations. Whether their passions lie in sports, cooking, music, or any other area, you will encourage and facilitate their development, helping them to discover and pursue their interests.
Empowering our children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem is fundamental to this role. Your influence will be instrumental in helping them realise their potential and fostering a positive outlook.
You will need:
A certain understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards.
A certain knowledge of Ofsted procedures and legislation.
The ability to work with a close knit team at all times.
This is a role that requires a strong character and resolve.
You will require:
To work to NVQ Level 4 Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent (if not already done so).
Able to work shift patterns and sleep-ins.
Have some experience working in the Care Sector.
Hold a Full UK driving licence.

We have a great RM who has proved himself to be very successful within the children's care sector who is very excited and enthusiastic to start with a great team behind him.
