How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Great opportunity to lead on major Compensation projects - job levelling and pay range management / EU Pay Transparency management across 6 EU countries / aligning of compensation strategy with key benefit changes - as well as key Compensation planning cycles.

    The successful candidate will bring advanced compensation experience, ideally within an EU or International setting, and be available at short notice. Offers hybrid working.

    A 6-month fixed term contract opportunity as Senior Compensation Manager (6-month FTC).

    The key focus areas for the 6 months include:

    End of Year compensation planning cycles - (Oct-Dec and Jan-Mar).
    Job Levelling and pay range management.
    EU Pay Transparency management across 6 EU countries.
    Aligning of compensation strategy with key benefit changes planned for 2027 and supporting on broader comms.
    Supporting on changes related to UK Gender Pay Gap reporting.
    Working with Employment Tax, Payroll and People Ops to ensure data governance and compliance.This role offers great hybrid working opportunities - you can expect to be in the office in Bicester 1-2 days per week on average.

    Profile

    To apply for this Senior Compensation Manager (6-month FTC) role, your profile will closely match the following:

    Significant experience in Reward, with specialist exposure to Compensation.
    Deep expertise in Compensation management, ideally across multiple European countries.
    Proven capability to operate at Senior Manager level, influencing senior stakeholders and working autonomously in complex environments.
    Experience with compensation topics such as job evaluation, pay structures, WTW levelling and benchmarking, and annual review processes.
    Strong commercial acumen and experience managing external partners (brokers, vendors, survey providers).
    Excellent analytical skills, with strong Excel capability and confidence handling complex reward data.
    Strong communicator, able to translate complex reward concepts into clear, pragmatic guidance.
    Trusted, discreet and confident judgement-holder on sensitive reward matters.
    Curious, forward-thinking and motivated to expand scope and impact over time.
    Available at short notice and able to commit to a duration of size months.
    Must be able to work from the Bicester office 1-2 days per week on average. Job Offer
