How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This Finance Data Analyst role supports the CFO by delivering financial reporting, data analysis, dashboards, and AI-driven insights that help inform business decisions and improve performance. It combines finance, business intelligence, and emerging technologies such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

    Description

    Utilise AI, LLMs, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric to analyse data, automate reporting, and deliver insights from operational and financial datasets.
    Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and KPI reporting, tracking metrics such as revenue per charger, utilisation, site performance, uptime, and operational efficiency.
    Support finance operations through day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close activities, invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial data management across Xero, Dext, Sitetracker, and WorkflowMax.
    Produce management accounts, financial reports, board-ready commentary, and performance analysis by combining financial and operational data to support decision-making.
    Partner with data engineering teams, vendors, suppliers, and senior leadership to ensure data quality, manage financial workflows, resolve issues, and respond to ad-hoc business requests.

    Profile

    A studying accountant, ideally AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and translate it into clear business insights.
    Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualisation tools, with experience creating dashboards and management reporting.
    Good understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
    Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve reporting and decision-making processes.
    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to present findings to senior leadership.
    A proactive, detail-oriented mindset, capable of working independently in a fast-paced and rapidly growing business environment.Job Offer
