How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

My client is looking for a hands on Purchase Ledger expert that can lead a team and manage the operational day to day in AP. This is an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Team Leader, Purchase Ledger Team Leader or Senior Accounts Payable, who is excited people leadership and being involved across all processes in the Accounts Payable function. My client is a notable business in their industry, and are well known for having a top quality working culture and clear progression pathways for their staff.

    Description

    Manage and lead the accounts payable team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
    Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
    Implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance with financial policies.
    Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice or payment queries.
    Prepare reports and analysis on accounts payable activities for management.
    Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
    Ensure supplier relationships are managed effectively.Profile

    A successful AP Team Leader should have:

    Experience in a similar Senior Accounts Payable, or Purchase Ledger Team Leader role.
    Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
    Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
    Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
    Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.Job Offer
