How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Ensuring appropriate control measures are implemented for high-risk activities, including lifting operations, working at height, confined spaces, hot work, excavation, electrical works and work near water.
Monitoring compliance with Permit-to-Work systems and verifying that required controls are in place before work commences.
Supporting the planning and execution of emergency preparedness activities, drills and response arrangements.
Conducting HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings and targeted training for employees and contractors.
Investigating incidents, near misses, unsafe acts and conditions, identifying root causes and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Monitoring contractor and subcontractor HSE performance and ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements.
Maintaining HSE documentation, inspection records, incident reports, action trackers and performance statistics.
Following up on identified deficiencies and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out within agreed timeframes.
Participating in project HSE meetings and providing regular updates on safety performance, trends, risks and areas requiring management attention.
Promoting a positive safety culture through visible leadership, workforce engagement, behavioural safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
Supporting environmental controls relevant to port construction activities, including waste management, spill prevention, pollution control and protection of marine and surrounding environments.
Liaising with client representatives, contractors, regulatory authorities and other project stakeholders on HSE matters.
Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of project HSE plans, procedures, emergency arrangements and risk-control strategies.
Ensuring lessons learned from incidents, inspections and audits are communicated effectively and incorporated into future work activities
