Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start Available
We're currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable employment with regular weekday hours.
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be involved in a variety of warehouse duties, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced working environment to become an integral member of our clients team.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Booking in deliveries and checking goods received
Preparing orders for dispatch (Goods Out)
Conducting stock takes and maintaining stock accuracy
Loading and unloading deliveries
Labelling and organising stock within the warehouse
Performing quality checks on products
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting colleagues across different warehouse departments as required
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
Experience with picking, packing, stock control, goods in or goods out is advantageous
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management skills
