How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Projects Officer

    £20.46 per hour
    37 Hours Per Week
    Office based- Stevenage SG1
    Temporary Contract until December 2026
    We're looking for a Projects Officer to support the delivery of a high-profile, multi-agency data and improvement programme. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in coordinating project activity, managing stakeholder relationships, and helping deliver meaningful service improvements.

    Working with a wide range of teams and partner organisations, you'll help ensure projects stay on track by coordinating governance activities, monitoring progress, managing project documentation, and supporting delivery against agreed timelines.

    Key responsibilities:

    Coordinating meetings, workshops, governance arrangements, and project activities.
    Managing project plans, action logs, risk registers, and reporting documentation.
    Working closely with internal teams and external partners to support project delivery.
    Monitoring milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues where needed.
    Supporting evidence gathering, validation, and evaluation activities.
    Providing advice and guidance on project processes and governance.
    Assisting with wider improvement projects as required.You will need:

    Experience supporting or coordinating projects in a professional environment.
    Excellent organisational and time management skills.
    Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
    Confidence managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
    A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
    Ability to build strong working relationships and work effectively as part of a team.Desirable Skills

    PRINCE2 Foundation, APM, or equivalent project management qualification.
    Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment.
    Understanding of governance, data management, or information-sharing processes.
