How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A well-established property and construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work across a varied portfolio of property and development projects while building strong client relationships and progressing within a respected consultancy environment.

The Project Manager will manage projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of commissions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing programme, risk, reporting, and stakeholder expectations. The successful Project Manager will join a collaborative team with a strong pipeline of work across London and the wider South East.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead construction and property projects through both pre-contract and post-contract stages.

The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, change control, project reporting, and stakeholder engagement. They will chair meetings, monitor contractor performance, coordinate project information, and ensure schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

The Project Manager will also maintain strong client relationships and provide clear professional advice throughout the project lifecycle.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy
Experience delivering property and construction projects
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement
Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
    Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
A proactive, professional, and commercially aware approach

    In Return?

    £45,000 - £55,000
    Professional membership support
    APC and chartership support
    Varied project exposure
    Strong client-facing responsibility
    Clear career progression opportunities
    Supportive consultancy environment
