How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Building lasting culinary partnerships – connecting exceptional chefs with kitchens where both can thrive.

The Chef Hub is working with a high-profile, premium hospitality venue in London to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join its talented kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for a chef who genuinely cares about food, enjoys working with quality ingredients and takes pride in producing consistently high standards across every plate.

You’ll be joining a professional, busy kitchen where quality, consistency, presentation and hospitality are at the heart of what the team does. This is a hands-on role for a chef who wants to develop their skills, work as part of a strong brigade and continue building their culinary career.

    What You'll Be Doing

As Chef de Partie, you'll take responsibility for your designated section, ensuring it is prepared, organised and ready to deliver a consistent service.

    Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing your section ahead of each service.

Producing dishes consistently to the required recipe, specification and presentation standards.

Taking pride in taste, quality, freshness and consistency.

Working with quality ingredients and maintaining excellent preparation standards.

Supporting the smooth running of your section during busy services.

Working closely with Senior Chefs and the wider kitchen brigade.

Supporting and guiding junior chefs where required.

Maintaining excellent portion control and helping minimise food waste.

Supporting stock control and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.

Checking deliveries and reporting any quality or quantity issues.

Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.

Keeping your section clean, organised and ready for service at all times.

    What We're Looking For

We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie who is ready to work within a high-standard professional kitchen.

    You'll ideally have:

Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef.

A genuine passion for food and an interest in developing your culinary skills.

Good preparation, organisation and time-management skills.

A strong eye for detail and presentation.

The ability to work calmly and effectively during busy services.

A good understanding of professional kitchen standards and food hygiene.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The ability to work well as part of a close-knit kitchen team.

Pride in your work and a genuine understanding of hospitality.

    Why This Role?

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking to develop within a quality-driven kitchen environment.

You'll work alongside experienced chefs, gain exposure to high standards of food production and have the opportunity to continue developing your skills across your section and throughout the wider kitchen.

If you're the type of chef who takes pride in your preparation, enjoys a busy service and wants to keep getting better at what you do — we'd like to hear from you.
