A leading international law firm is seeking a talented non-contentious Construction Lawyer to join its highly regarded team in London.
You will:
- Advise on the procurement and delivery of major construction and engineering projects
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, consultant appointments, warranties and related project documentation
- Advise on standard-form and bespoke contracts, including JCT, NEC and FIDIC
- Support clients with procurement strategy, contractual structures and risk allocation
- Work across sectors including infrastructure, energy, real estate and transport
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas and international offices
- Build strong relationships with developers, investors, contractors, funders and other project stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-7 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience
- Strong front-end construction experience gained within a recognised practice
- Experience drafting and negotiating construction and engineering documentation
- Excellent technical, drafting and communication skills
- A practical and commercially focused approach
- The ability to manage complex matters and work collaboratively
- E&W qualificaiton is preferred, but candidate qualified in common law jurisdictions will also be considered
