RE Teacher - Doncaster

Tradewind Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Doncaster on a short-term, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Religious Education teacher looking to join a supportive school environment and make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

The Role

As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across the secondary age range. You will inspire students to explore religious, philosophical and ethical issues while developing their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of different beliefs and perspectives.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality RE lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
Teach and support students across the relevant secondary age groups.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs and abilities of all learners.
Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Promote positive behaviour and maintain high standards of classroom management.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Support students' academic, personal and social development.
Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for RE.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
The ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
A professional, reliable and flexible approach.Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, as well as experienced RE teachers.
