How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are currently working with a driven and forward thinking Engineering Company, who are expanding, growing their teams with lots of exciting projects due to land.

    * This is a dual-purpose role and predominantly encompasses project ownership in a technical capacity.

    On the one hand it focuses on complementing the Design Engineers by supporting larger and complex projects by taking responsibility for the overall project planning from concept to implementation and support the full product life cycle by leading interfaces from Engineering to all other departments and external stakeholders.

    On the other hand the role encompasses technical project ownership from conceptualisation to install and service of medium-size development project and/or projects that require small amounts of internal development and more project management. These include to translate abstract customer requirements, functional needs, and technical constraints into physical, safe, compliant and manufacturable, install and serviceable products, systems, or components.

    The role includes being the accountable owner of the technical process of projects including cross functional technical project leadership supporting all internal departments, customer and suppliers as applicable.

    Our client is looking for someone who is educated to degree level, possessing a relevant degree or HND.

    Strong IT skills are essenetial, and must be totally conversant with solidworks.

    The role will require the successcful individual to work within a strong team of engineers. This role requires client interaction, so communications skills of a high level are essential.

    The working week is Monday - Friday.
