How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Overview:

    We are excited to offer an internship position for a passionate and driven Interior Design Intern to join our vibrant team at Juliana. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage in the complete design process, from initial concept to final implementation, within a supportive and collaborative environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist with the development and visualization of interior design concepts, including mood boards and sample boards.

    - Support the team in sourcing and selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories.

    - Participate in client consultations and presentations, offering creative input and taking notes.

    - Help support and become part of the project management, realtime hands-on experience

    - Knowledge of technical drawings, 3D renderings, industry software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.

    - Stay abreast of current trends in interior design, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions, contributing ideas

    - Assist with project coordination, including communication with suppliers, contractors, and clients.

    - Contribute to Juliana's online presence by helping create engaging content for web and social media platforms.


    Required Skills and Attributes:

    - Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.

    - Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.

    - A strong creative vision with a keen eye for aesthetics, including color, texture, and spatial design.

    - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.

    - Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

    - Eager to learn, with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
