How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • 5+ years of relevant M&A experience, ideally gained at a leading international or top-tier UK law firm.
    • Strong track record advising sophisticated clients on complex M&A transactions.
    • Excellent technical knowledge of M&A and corporate law.
    • Strong commercial awareness and client management skills.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine appetite to build and develop a new business.
    • Genuine interest in AI, legal technology and the transformation of professional services.
    • Strong networking and business development capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent command of English.
    • Based in or willing to relocate to London.

    #The offer

    • The opportunity to take ownership of the company's expansion in the UK market.
    • A highly entrepreneurial environment with significant autonomy and responsibility.
    • The opportunity to combine high-end M&A work with AI and technology.
    • Direct exposure to sophisticated corporate and investment clients.
    • The opportunity to help shape a new model for delivering legal services.
    • A competitive remuneration package with significant potential upside linked to the growth of the business.

    #About our client

Our client is a fast-growing, technology-driven legal services company specialising in M&A. By combining experienced legal professionals with AI-powered technology, they are developing a more efficient and cost-effective way of delivering high-quality legal advice on transactions.

Following successful growth in their existing markets, the company is now expanding internationally. Their ambition is to fundamentally rethink how transactional legal services are delivered and to build a technology-driven alternative to the traditional law-firm model.
