The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused People Operations Business Partner to join a growing healthcare organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and enjoys leading teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding recruitment and people services.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in supporting workforce growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing efficient people processes that enhance the employee journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and motivate a People Operations and Recruitment team to deliver a high-quality service.
- Partner with managers across the business to support workforce planning and complex recruitment pipelines.
- Manage high-volume talent acquisition activity across multiple sites and functions.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring exceptional candidate experiences and efficient hiring journeys.
- Ensure all safer recruitment practices are followed in line with healthcare sector requirements.
- Maintain robust clinical compliance processes, including pre-employment checks and right-to-work verification.
- Monitor recruitment performance, candidate tracking, and workforce metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Support managers with recruitment challenges within highly regulated environments.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, CQC requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide expert HR and recruitment advice.
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience within an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People Operations role.
- Strong people management experience with a track record of leading and developing successful teams.
- Experience managing recruitment within a regulated environment, ideally healthcare, social care, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of safer recruitment practices and clinical compliance requirements.
- Demonstrable experience of managing high-volume recruitment and talent acquisition campaigns.
- Experienced in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment reporting tools.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
