Our client is seeking an experienced Business Ethics & Compliance Manager to join its Legal & Business Affairs function for an initial period of 6 months (with the possibility of extension).
Key responsibilities include:
- Anti-Bribery & Corruption Programme Management: Leading day-to-day delivery of the ABC compliance programme, ensuring effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls.
- High-Risk Due Diligence: Reviewing and approving higher-risk third-party due diligence matters, identifying key risks and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
- Compliance Advisory: Guiding conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, sanctions-related queries, government interactions and other compliance matters.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Advising senior business stakeholders, including Product Groups, Shared Services, Boards and Executive Board members on compliance risks and obligations.
- Training & Awareness: Delivering or supporting compliance training initiatives and helping embed a strong culture of ethics and compliance across the organisation.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Supporting risk assessments, maintaining audit trails and preparing reporting for senior leadership regarding compliance programme effectiveness.
Experience:
This role requires a confident compliance professional who can work independently while engaging effectively with senior stakeholders and board-level audiences.
Key Details:
- Location: Cambridge.

- Office Attendance: Minimum two days per week in the Cambridge office (potentially more during onboarding).
